**No Time to Be 21 was written and performed by The Adverts. It was first released as a the band 4th single on January 20th 1978. It's also available in a slightly different version on the Crossing the Red Sea with the Adverts LP, released on February 17th 1978. All the songs The Adverts recorded are pure genius and should be considered as top notch early UK punk. Check them out if you don't know them.

Completely perfect start to finish - one of those miracle albums that grabs you from the first track and doesn't let go til the last!
Excellent synth/drum/vocal work - just superb.
It is begging for a special repress!! praktik
Cutting, serrated darkwave and eerie goth-ambient are the order of the day on this utterly spooky and bewitching album from our unseen guest Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 13, 2020

I can't believe it's a 2020 album, it already feels like a century-old classics! Side A starts off with just a solid material reminiscent of the previous LA work, but when a needle scratches near a finale of the same side A it blows you away with it's universal themes powered by escalating synths, vocals stronger than death and poetry larger than air. The last time i was touched by such an emotional crescendo was when I listened to Portishead. I can't freeze anymore... Symbolic ‡ Tentacles
